Jackie points out for us the wonderful new way to layer seemingly different items. The feminine and flirty a-line floral print dress by Karin Stevens is a knockout on its own, with its layered sequin on chiffon over a satin lining. But, as all the trendiest gals know, mixing it up with contrasting textures and fabrics is the way- to-go for early fall this year. We added a J.Jill jacket in pink tweed that had a subtle variation in the coarsely woven textile. You may also want to note the jacket has french cuffs as well as button detail on the patch pocket; these spell quality on any garment. Added to that, the lining was also done in a fun print that shows sophistication in this outfit. One layered over the other is the ultimate in fashionable style. Drop earrings work well with her upswept hairstyle and keep the “ladies who lunch” vibe going. Her suede peep-toe pumps ground the outfit in the season without being too heavy. When all's said and done, this is a very fun, and fabulous style, that will get you noticed in the best of ways.
