Trish - Falling for the Right Prints

Posted by Jamie Klinger-Krebs on Oct 1, 2015 12:00:00 AM

Falling for the right prints is the key to pulling together the greatest looks for fall. Trish is wearing a very flattering dress from Ann Taylor that has an unusual silhouette and pattern. The dark background plays up the lavender, white and yellow-abstract pattern and helps create visual interest and a fluid line. The kimono sleeve and self belt make it sophisticated and unique. Sometimes, as in this case, all you really need is that ONE great dress. The point here is to look for an-all season dress featuring fabric that could easily transition into spring and summer. It’s a very smart way to build a great wardrobe. We made it more fall appropriate by adding black hosiery and layering on the dark-toned accessories such as the cuff bracelet, black drop necklace and silver diamond-shaped earrings. Her gray leather envelope clutch handbag is on trend and fashion forward with its copper closure. She’s also wearing some classic round-toed black pumps in a rich leather by Anne Klein. This type of shoe never goes out of style and always looks appropriate! Trish loved this look and felt great about herself, and isn’t that what great personal style is all about?

Bari - Chic and Modern

Posted by Jamie Klinger-Krebs on Oct 1, 2015 12:00:00 AM

Simplicity and great construction is what our next model, Bari, is illustrating this month. Looking just like she walked off a runway in New York, we see again that ONE great dress is the best statement of all! This neutral-color blocked dress is so stunning because of the graphic black outlines of the geometric shapes.  We found this New York & Company dress for just $6.99! When working with something as visually graphic as this dress, we kept everything else very simple. Layering some gold bracelets on her wrists, and some gold-chain earrings to finish off her jewelry was just enough without overwhelming the dress. The black suede wedge shoes from International Concepts make the dress feel a little younger and are totally appropriate for her age. She’s also carrying a classic black handbag with gold chain strap, which works well here, but this would also be a great addition to any gal’s accessory wardrobe! Chic and modern are the watchwords for this fabulous look on this pretty young lady!
