Get Great Back-to-School Looks at Goodwill!

Hey it's Mia! Today's blog is going to be for back-to-school looks I got from Goodwill. I think going to Goodwill for back to school is something you should consider doing, because you can find a lot of really cute clothes for a lot less money then what they actually retail for.

DIY Jean Shorts for the Last Days of Summer

Summer is still hanging on, and you might need a few pairs of shorts for the last few weeks of warm weather. You could easily spend $30-$50 on designer shorts that have been ripped, cut, and distressed to have that perfect worn look. Or you could hit your local Goodwill to create your own for just a few bucks.

My Weight Loss Journey with Goodwill

Shopping is hard for people who don’t like the way they look, and it’s especially difficult for people who find nothing fits. That person was me. Last year I weighed 280 pounds and hated the idea of shopping for clothes that didn’t fit and wouldn’t hide my overweight body. I was wearing 44-inch waist pants and 2XL shirts. Most retail stores didn’t have my size, and the stores I could find were expensive. Still, I looked where I could and found a surprising amount of clothes that fit me at Goodwill.

Summer is Coming!

Summer is coming, and that means the clothes are too! You know you’ll need to stock up on shorts, tops, sandals, etc, to get you through the season, and maybe you don’t have enough money to buy name brand clothes … but, that’s okay! Goodwill is a great place to shop for cool clothes that are in good condition, and for low prices. This will definitely be a help to all my teen girls out there! We all know the struggle of trying to look good and being judged if you don’t look nice, plus there’s always the issue of not having enough money for all the clothes we want. So, first of all, you just do you and don’t let others bring you down. Sometimes that’s how things go, but don’t be afraid to be yourself! Goodwill has lots of great clothes, and a lot of name brand clothes for not a lot of money. I found a brand-spanking new pair of Sperry Top-Siders at Goodwill for only $5! Like WHAT?!
