Hey everyone, so today's blog is mainly about the outfit I made with some hiking boots I found at Goodwill for $7! I know … what a good deal!
Finding shoes at Goodwill in your size is awesome. My tip: go straight to the shoe section as soon as you get to Goodwill so no one else can take the shoes in your size! You never know when someone will find something before you do, so go often. These hiking boots would retail originally for around $100-$150. I’ve seen this style of hiking boots lately on women and they're very “in” right now. On a cooler day (which is when I would normally wear these boots) I paired them with some jeans or leggings, and a graphic tee I got from a friend. You could also wear them with a floppy skirt, or shorts for a warm-weather look. Another tip: ask a friend to have a clothing trade! It's a great way to get rid of some clothes while getting some new looks for no cost at all. And, overall, it's just a great thing to do with your friends! And finally I just threw on a cardigan (which is my sister’s) to dress it up a bit. That's another thing, if you have any siblings or friends with a similar size, you can borrow clothes as long as it's okay with them. (We don't want to be stealing other people's clothes - that would be bad.) So for a whole outfit I spent $7! I created it out of stuff I had, stuff I borrowed and a great deal I found at Goodwill! I hope this blog helped some of you, or at least encouraged you to go to Goodwill. And, I hope you have an amazing day!
