Find the Baseball at Goodwill Scavenger Hunt

On August 25 & 26 visit a participating Goodwill Store & Donation Center in Wisconsin and find a baseball hidden somewhere inside the store. Then, bring the baseball to the check-out register (purchasing the baseball is not required) to instantly win one (1) official Milwaukee Brewers cap, and register to win a Grand Prize – First Pitch Experience!

Winners of the Grand Prize – First Pitch Experience will get the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Milwaukee Brewers vs. San Francisco Giants game on Friday, September 7, 2018, four (4) tickets to the game, parking pass and $100 voucher good toward food, beverage and merchandise! Date of experience is firm and cannot be changed.

Three Runner Up Winners will receive: Eight (8) tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs Game on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 1:10 p.m. Tickets are in the Club Goodwill section. Ticket dates are firm and cannot be exchanged for a later game.

One winner per person/per family. Must be 18 years or older.

 

Official Rules: Goodwill’s “Hit a Home Run” Scavenger Hunt 

No Purchase Necessary to enter or win.  A purchase will not increase odds of winning.  

Eligibility

Goodwill’s “hit a Home Run” Scavenger Hunt is open to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older who reside in the state of Wisconsin. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the “Hit a Home Run” Contest: (a) Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin (“Goodwill”), each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and, their immediate family (spouse, parents, legal guardians, in-laws, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren) and household members (whether or not related). The decisions of “Goodwill,” including but not limited to eligibility of participants and selection of the winners, are final and binding on all matters relating to the Scavenger Hunt. By participating in the Scavenger Hunt, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these “Official Rules.” 


How to Enter

Visit one (1) of the twenty-six (26) Southeastern Wisconsin Goodwill Store & Donation Centers on Saturday, August 25, 2018 and Sunday, August 26 (Check AmazingGoodwill.com in the morning of Sunday, August 26 to confirm if there are any remaining “unfound” coded baseball stress balls at any of the 26 Goodwill Store & Donation Centers in southeastern Wisconsin. If there is...the hunt continues!) and locate one of ten (10) coded baseball stress balls per location (260 baseballs total). Bring the coded baseball stress ball to the check-out register (purchasing the baseball is not required) and receive a Milwaukee Brewers cap and an opportunity to enter the ”Hit a Home Run” Contest. Only persons who locate a coded baseball stress ball may enter the contest. Complete an official entry form and other required paperwork to officially enter the Contest. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON/PER FAMILY. There is a maximum of 260 entries into the “Hit a Home Run” Contest. 

Selection of Winners

Winners will be selected by random drawing on or about August 29, 2018 and will be notified via supplied email address or phone number. In the event a winner cannot be contacted, declines a prize, or cannot accept a prize at the date and time it is offered, a random drawing will re-occur to replace that person. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.  


Prizes

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will get the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the Milwaukee Brewers vs. San Francisco Giants game on Friday, September 7, 2018.  Winner must be able to check in with the Brewers at 6:15 p.m. that evening to be escorted down to the field with one (1) other guest. Winner will receive a ticket to that night’s game, and will also receive tickets for three (3) guests to join them at the game. Four tickets total. Also included is a parking pass for that day’s game, and a $100 voucher good toward food, beverages and merchandise. Date of experience is firm and cannot be changed. 

There are three (3) Runner-Up Packages that include a.) eight (8) tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs Game on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 1:10 p.m. Tickets are in the Club Goodwill section and are as follows: Section 235, row 5, seats 13-20, b.) Ticket dates are firm and cannot be exchanged for a later game. 

There is one prize per person, must be 18 years of age or older, one per person/per family. Goodwill is not responsible if any game is delayed or cancelled for reasons beyond their control. By entering, entrant agrees to abide and be bound to these Official Rules and all ticket-holder rules and policies, and to hold harmless and indemnify “Goodwill,” and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, partners, equity holders, shareholders, members, employees, agents and representatives and all others associated with the manufacture, distribution, development and execution of this “Hit a Home Run” Contest and prizes (the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims,  liability, injury, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), damage, loss or causes of action (however named or described) that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from: (i) entrant’s participation in the “Hit a Home Run” Contest;  (ii) the delivery, misdelivery, receipt, acceptance, possession, use  or misuse of the prizes awarded in the Contest; (iii) the use of a winner’s name, photograph and/or likeness as permitted herein, including, without limitation, claims based on publicity rights, defamation and/or invasion of privacy; and/or (iv) any travel, including but not limited to travel to or from a Milwaukee Brewers home game, or activity related to the receipt, use or misuse of the prizes, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death and/or property damage..  The Released Parties are not responsible for incomplete, undecipherable, lost, late, damaged, or misdirected entries, misdirected or faulty texts or for any technical problems, incorrect announcements of any kind, and/or hardware or software failures of any kind.  The Released Parties are not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, damaged, intercepted, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the winners. Incomplete entries are void.  The Released Parties are not responsible for any human or other error that may occur in the processing of the entries, nor are they responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or failures of any wireless or internet service providers, transmission interruptions or failures on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof, which may limit a person’s ability to participate in this Contest or receive communication from “Goodwill.” “Goodwill” assume no responsibility for undeliverable text messages resulting from filtration of an entrant’s Wireless or Internet service provider or for insufficient space to receive text or e-mail.  In consideration for being awarded a prize, each prize recipient hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of prize recipient’s name and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by Goodwill and/or the Milwaukee Brewers. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual feared to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be found acting in violation of the Official Rules, or to undermine legitimate operation of the Contest. In the event “Goodwill” is prevented from continuing or completing this “Hit a Home Run” Contest, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Contest is undermined by any event or cause not reasonably within “Goodwill’s” control, “Goodwill” shall have the right, in their sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the “Hit a Home Run” Contest without further obligation.  If “Goodwill,” in their discretion, elect to abbreviate the Contest, “Goodwill” reserves the right, but not the obligation, to award the prizes from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time of such event or cause. “Hit a Home Run” Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  The “Hit a Home Run” Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.  Goodwill’s decisions are final.  The Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest, or announcement of the prizes. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules or the Affidavit will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any provision of the Official Rules or the Affidavit is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained therein.  Entrants agree to waive any rights to claim ambiguity of these Official Rules.  In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, privacy policy or terms of use on the Contest website and/or the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in “Goodwill’s” sole and absolute discretion. “Hit a Home Run” Contest is governed by the laws of the state of Wisconsin.
