October 6, 2019 officially marks the 100th anniversary of Goodwill! Founded by Rev. Edgar J. October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), where workplaces across the country are celebrating the contributions of workers with disabilities. Held each October, the U.S. Department of Labor commemorates NDEAM to raise awareness about disability employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities. For more than 100 years, Goodwill has helped individuals navigate challenges of seeking employment, including disabilities, lack of education or work experience, and other factors that make it difficult for someone to gain employment and build a career.
