Face off your clutter ... clear the zone ... clean out your closets! Get the entire family involved in gathering gently-used clothes and household items, then go to any participating Goodwill Store & Donation Center between Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Simply indicate your school name, city and number of items donated on the slip provided to you by the Goodwill Donation Attendant, and the school with the greatest number of items donated will receive a visit from a Chicago Blackhawk player. It's that easy! Open to elementary and middle schools in the metropolitan Chicago territory only.

Former Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup and Olympic Champion Patrick Sharp visited Goodwill Elementary School in Cicero, IL, to congratulate them on winning the 2018 Goodwill Pass It On Donation Challenge. Goodwin Elementary School donated over 25,000 items to earn some Chicago Blackhawks memorabilia, a hockey shoot-out with the students and a fun-filled afternoon.
How it works:
-
There's no need to register for the promotion. Just start donating April 1, 2019!
-
A Goodwill donation attendant will provide you with a special donation slip. Remember: only donations made between April 1 and April 30, 2019, will count!
-
Simply indicate your school name, city and number of items donated. Return the slip to the donation attendant.*
-
The school with the greatest number of items donated will receive a visit from Chicago Blackhawks player!
*Donation Slips:
-
Any slips that do not have an exact number written for the "Number of items donated" will be estimated by the donation attendant
-
Goodwill reserves the right to count a donation collection as one item (ie: a bag of 100 marbles = 1 item and not 100 items)
-
If any donation exceeds 999 items in one visit, the Goodwill Store Manager will need to sign the donation drive slip, in order for it to be counted
-
Slips that are not legible or filled out entirely (name of school and city) will not be counted
-
Goodwill is not responsible for any slips that are not received, are lost, or illegible
-
Management reserves the right to verify the number of items indicated by the donor on the submitted donation slip, to ensure accurate counts for this challenge
