Brush-Up!

Posted by Jamie Klinger-Krebs on Jul 23, 2015 1:35:59 PM

Brush-Up!Brush-Up!It’s the middle of summer and you need a quick DIY project that takes no time, no sewing and no painting? Here’s one that organizes your desk, vanity or craft room. Simply fill interesting vases and jars with colorful table confetti and voila, instant color!

Goodwill is a great source for vases, jars and glasses in all sizes. For this project look for clear glass, cool patterns, or even interesting shapes in the glass.

Choose glass or plastic table confetti in colors that coordinate with your room décor.

Brush-Up!Brush-Up!Brush-Up!I used faux diamonds for make-up brushes in the bathroom. Why not add a little glam with jewels? It’s pretty and handy for the morning rush.

Every artist knows that paint brushes need to stay upright to avoid damaging the bristles. A tall vase keeps your brushes accessible for whenever inspiration strikes.

Same with your desk … instead of a basic pencil holder, look for something much more interesting. I love this vintage creamer. Filled with glass confetti, it has more personality than an old can!
