Witch’s Brew

cauldron 071Here’s another fast and easy Halloween decorating project. No sewing, no glue! Anyone can do it.

Serve up your favorite Witch’s Brew or candy in a special cauldron.

cauldron 051 054.fwI happened to find a plastic planter, but any large bowl or container will work. I removed the bottom stand. (If your dish isn’t black, you might want to spray paint it.)

cauldron 062I removed the flowers from a vine wreath. You will find a variety at Goodwill. This will be the base for the fire.

Lay the wreath flat on the table. To create the look of flames, fill it with scrunched up tissue paper in yellow, orange and red.

cauldron 065Place a string of white Christmas tree lights in a clear bowl. The bowl will protect the paper from the heat of the lights.

cauldron 066Voila! Add a large stick to stir your brew or dry ice to create fog!

This project took all of 10 minutes to create and cost less than $10.00!

It looks even better in the dark!

Happy Halloween!
