I like to break up my organizing or cleaning projects into small, doable pieces. For example, instead of rearranging or cleaning the whole pantry, I do a shelf at a time. I did the kitchen junk drawer a couple of weeks ago, this week I organized my jewelry.
Having your jewelry neatly laid out and color coordinated makes getting ready in the morning faster and easier.(See images below)
1. I found light-weight woven trays at Goodwill for $1.99 each.
2. Punch holes between the weaves with a small screwdriver or ice pick.
3. Insert cut pieces of pipe cleaner into some of the holes for necklaces, bracelets and rings. Twist the pipe cleaner in the back to hold in place.
For bangle bracelets, I like to use discarded drawers like the one show at left. Add a piece of felt to the bottom and you can store dozens in all styles and sizes.
