Amazing Finds at Goodwill

I found this Amelia Earhart Vintage Suitcase for $3.99 at the Goodwill in Pewaukee, WI.  I also purchased a king sized pillow sham from Goodwill for $3.99. I upcycled into a pet bed for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Penny. The sham is filled with an extra comforter I had around the house.

I found this new and in the original package, Pottery Barn Kids Quilted Baby Bumper for $3.99. However, since it was Senior Day, I got 15% off, plus an additional 20% off with a coupon, because I had been at another location the previous day, making the item less than $3! Found at the Arlington Heights, IL location, 1551 N. Dryden.

Can't wait to try it out!

My name is Judy and I found Bob Hope's autograph at the Goodwill in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. It is signed:  "Thanks for the memory.  My Best Bob Hope".  It had been a fundraiser item at the Live Bait Theater in Chicago  (See second picture which is the back of the frame.)

Standing in line at the Naperville Goodwill store with this great find - a very nice office chair and tall lamp for my home office. Just what I was looking for !

Found this ruffled vase/pot that was perfect for M's sunflowers. $1.99 in Grafton, WI.

BRAND NEW NIKE SHOES!! - Found in Bartlett, IL

We were visiting in the Los Angeles area. Our 6 year old grandson was asking for a leather jacket. He had seen many motorcyclists wearing them during our travels. We, of course, knowing the cost and knowing it is summer felt we would not be able to find one. My husband, an avid Goodwill shopper, commented, "Maybe we can find one at a Goodwill store." As we were driving in Glendale, our grandson pointed out a Goodwill store we were passing. We stopped and went inside. Much to our amazement and our grandson's delight, he spotted a leather jacket in his size. Of course, we purchased it and he wore it to the airport and on the flight all the way home! It was his favorite souvenir. Definitely, an "amazing find"!
