One of the best things about fashion coverage is meeting the movers and shakers! Such as my friend Kim Cihlar who has reported on menswear and fashion in New York City for many years! This week she graciously shares some of her photographs, as well as her take on menswear in 2017!

I asked my dear friend, and menswear-expert Kim Cihlar, about the latest looks for dudes, blokes and regular guys this week. Here’s her spin on what’s in …
KIM: The biggest trend seen during the New York Fashion Week men's shows was the warm-and-cozy “Revenant”-style wrap coat. Not necessarily done in fur, like the movie. This trend was interpreted by designers using thick, textural, nubby wrapped scarves like those seen at the CWST presentation, big sophisticated ponchos at Garciavelez, and even capes, like the super hero Hoodie at Greg Lauren. Brett Johnson also had some amazing options.
The return of Men’s Fashion Week just concluded in New York City, and with that, the focus on male style has taken a giant leap forward in the minds of the public at large. On the scene for the numerous daily shows and presentations was my dear friend and fabulous fashion blogger, Kim Cihlar. I thought I’d impose upon her to share with us an insider’s sneak peek of what the powers that be on the men’s fashion scene have in store for the super stylish man!
