Upcycling is a relatively new term, but one you will hear more and more throughout this year and years to come. To upcycle an item or material, means to convert it into something more valuable by making it of higher quality and/or higher environmental use. Every time you upcycle something, you're preventing it from going into landfills; think of it as another form of recycling!
