On November 11th, our nation honors military service members on Veterans Day. Did you know that Veterans Day was originally celebrated in 1918 and called Armistice Day to recognize the end of World War I? 

On November 11, 2014 (and every Tuesday), Goodwill shoppers with a Club Goodwill Rewards Military membership and a military ID will receive 10% off their total purchase.  It’s Goodwill’s way of saying, “Thank You” to all those that have served our country.

Anyone who knows me well can attest to the fact that I am not at all “crafty.” DIY projects are just not my forte. But, as the mother of a seven-year-old daughter, it’s inevitable that at one point or another you just have to pull a little project out of your hat.
