Goodwill Wins Mayor's Design Award

mayor awardThe Goodwill Store & Donation Center on Oakland Avenue in Milwaukee won the “Designs that Grab You” category in the Mayor’s Design Award competition. The criteria for the award encompassed: great curb appeal; engages the street in a distinct manner; inviting windows, welcoming entries, distinct signage, and incorporates active public space while encouraging informal public gathering. The award was accepted at the UW-Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning in late May.
