Just because fall is on the way doesn’t mean you need to put away the florals just yet. Depending on their colors, floral patterns can and should be worn year-round. I’ve collected a few examples here of how to wear floral patterns right on into the fall.
First, we see a floral skirt with pockets that has a deep black background for the beautiful blooms displayed on it. This is a thrifting piece I found that’s now making its way onto the consignment sales floor. When I look for floral items I make sure the fabric is rich, and the colors really pop. Skirts with pockets are always a plus!
Next, we have a lovely floral scarf/wrap that I got at Goodwill for $2.99. With its rich, dark tones, it’s perfect with a blazer or sweater for work—or even with a long sleeve t-shirt just for fun.
Lastly, I found these awesome leggings at Goodwill for $4.99. I love the dark green in the floral pattern. I paired them with a black sweater that I layered a camisole under. These would look great with boots or sneakers and could take you right into winter under a tunic dress or long sweater too.
Floral prints aren’t just for summertime, they can be a year- round favorite when chosen wisely. Keep an eye out at our stores for some Fleur with flair!
