DIY Napkin Project

Anyone throwing a party knows how much the plates, napkins and other serveware can cost. Especially if you’re doing a themed party and want to have a cute, matched set. Since I always see packs of napkins at my local Goodwill Store & Donation center, along with stamps, I thought I would combine them in this fun DIY!

For the supplies, you’ll need napkins in your color of choice, a rubber stamp, a stamp pad in your color of choice, and if you’re giving as a hostess gift, some cute ribbon or string to tie them together.

I found two packs of napkins at my local Goodwill, priced at $0.49 each. I had the Fourth of July stamp at home already, but found this cute arrow stamp for just $1.99!

This project couldn’t be easier, simply stamp your design on the napkin, and let dry.

This would be great for any holiday, graduation parties, baby or bridal showers, really any occasion! I also thought a set of homemade napkins would make a really cute hostess gift when you are invited to a party.

I am planning to try this with some orange napkins and a cute witch’s hat stamp at Halloween, and a friend of mine is doing a camping-themed birthday party for her son’s 1st birthday, so we’ve found a tent stamp that we can use to make custom napkins and treat bags.

So keep your eyes opened at Goodwill for stamps and napkins, and try this fun and easy DIY!
