Happy spring, Goodwill shoppers!

The Midwest weather has certainly had a mind of its own these days, but don’t let a gloomy day put the damper on your wardrobe.

The Fashionable Fox hasn’t exactly been able to frolic around in sundresses and chiffon skirts lately, but I’m still working hard to come up with spring-friendly outfits that work in cooler weather, rain or shine.

For this outfit, I’m rocking a slim pair of dark wash denim jeans from Old Navy to keep my legs warm and dry on a chilly, rainy day.

I then picked out this Peter Pilotto for Target blouse from Goodwill for only $3.99! This top mixes some serious patterns of stripes and florals, which is so unique! I love the color combination of black, white, blue and bright yellow.

I tossed on a simple LC Lauren Conrad black fitted blazer to keep warm, but it still allowed for my shirt to pop. I found this piece at Goodwill for $5.99.

You can’t go wrong with ankle boots when the weather doesn’t look promising, so I paired my outfit with a $6.99 Goodwill steal- these Sam and Libby gold metallic booties. I’m obsessed with the chunky heels!

For a final touch, I added a simple rhinestone bar necklace I also found at Goodwill for $4.99. The geometric shape is the perfect addition to my mixed-print blouse.

I’m very impatient when waiting for spring weather, but colors and prints under a basic layer of warmth are the perfect way to adapt to the ever-changing climate.

Plus, you can’t beat the incredible deals on spring fashions right now at your local Goodwill. Load up your cart and prep your closet for the time when the sun decides to stick around.

But don’t forget, April showers bring May flowers. We’re almost there!

Until next time, shop smart and stay stylish!
