Head to any of the forty-one Chicagoland Goodwill locations on Saturday, March 24 & Sunday, March 25 to find one of ten coded Blackhawks hockey pucks hidden somewhere inside the store. Then, bring the puck to the check-out register (purchasing the puck is not required) to receive a Blackhawks hat, as well as an opportunity to enter the Chicago Blackhawks & Goodwill Scavenger Hunt Sweepstakes! (Only those who locate a puck may enter the Sweepstakes.) Those who locate a puck must complete an official entry form and other required paperwork to officially enter.

Official Rules: Chicago Blackhawks & Goodwill Scavenger Hunt Sweepstakes

Eligibility
The Chicago Blackhawks & Goodwill Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older who reside in the State of Illinois, Wisconsin or Indiana. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes: (a) the employees, officers, directors, partners, equity holders, members and agents of Chicago Blackhawk Hockey Team, Inc. (“Chicago Blackhawks”), and their respective immediate family members (spouse, parents, legal guardians, in-laws, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren) and members of their same households (whether legally related or not), (b) the employees, officers, directors, partners, equity holders, members and agents of the National Hockey League (the “NHL”) and its member teams, NHL Enterprises, L.P., NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P., NHL Enterprises B.V., and/or NHL Interactive CyberEnterprises, LLC (the foregoing are collectively the “NHL Entities”), and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and affiliates, and their respective immediate family members (spouse, parents, legal guardians, in-laws, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren) and members of their same households (whether legally related or not); and (c) Goodwill Industries of Metropolitan Chicago (“Goodwill”), each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and, their immediate family (spouse, parents, legal guardians, in-laws, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren) and household members (whether or not related). The decisions of the Chicago Blackhawks, including but not limited to eligibility of participants and selection of the winners, are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these “Official Rules.”
How to Enter
Visit one (1) of the forty-one (41) Chicagoland Goodwill locations on Saturday, March 24, 2018 & Sunday, March 25, 2018 and locate one of ten (10) coded Blackhawks hockey pucks per location (410 pucks total). Bring the coded puck to the check-out register (purchasing the puck is not required) and receive a Blackhawks hat and an opportunity to enter the Sweepstakes. Only persons who locate a puck may enter the Sweepstakes. Complete an official entry form and other required paperwork to officially enter the Sweepstakes. One entry per person. There is a maximum of 410 entries into the Sweepstakes.
Selection of Winners
Winners will be selected by random drawing on or about April 6th, 2018 and will be notified via supplied email address or phone number. In the event a winner cannot be contacted, declines a prize, or cannot accept a prize at the date and time it is offered, a random drawing will re-occur to replace that person. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. If all 410 pucks are located and used to enter the Sweepstakes, the odds of winning the Grand Prize will be 1 in 410, and the odds of winning a Second Place Prize will be 8 out of 205. Purchase will not increase odds of winning. Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release. Identity of a winner is subject to verification.
Prizes
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a prepaid credit card with total value of $2,000, four (4) tickets to a Chicago Blackhawks away game in the 2018 – 2019 regular season (date of the game and location of the seats to be determined by the Chicago Blackhawks in its sole discretion), two (2) hotel rooms at the Chicago Blackhawks team hotel. Eight (8) Second Place Winners will receive two (2) 300-level game tickets to a select 2018-2019 Chicago Blackhawks home game played at the United Center (date of the game and location of the seats to be determined by the Chicago Blackhawks in its sole discretion). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $2,700. The ARV of the Second Place Prize (two 300-level tickets) is $200 for each pair.
Conditions
Prizes are non-transferable to any other person, including relatives or friends. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes associated with the prize, transportation to and from game, airfare, the acquisition of all necessary travel documents such as passports and visas, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned herein. The Grand Prize Winner is responsible for making all travel arrangements at his or her own expense. No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of prize(s) permitted except at the Chicago Blackhawks’ option for a prize of comparable or greater value. No groups, clubs or organizations may participate in this offer or reproduce or distribute any portion of these rules or entry forms to their members. A list of the prize winners can be obtained by writing to the Chicago Blackhawks, Corporate Marketing, United Center, 1901 W. Madison St., Chicago, IL 60612 after May 1, 2018 and before May 31, 2018. One prize per person. Sponsors are not responsible if any game is delayed or cancelled for reasons beyond their control. By entering, entrant agrees to abide and be bound to these Official Rules and all ticket-holder rules and policies, and to hold harmless and indemnify Goodwill, Chicago Blackhawks, the NHL Entities, the United Center Joint Venture, Blackhawk Community Ice Rink, LLC, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, partners, equity holders, shareholders, members, employees, agents and representatives and all others associated with the manufacture, distribution, development and execution of this Sweepstakes and prizes (the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, liability, injury, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), damage, loss or causes of action (however named or described) that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from: (i) entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes; (ii) the delivery, misdelivery, receipt, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes awarded in the Sweepstakes; (iii) the use of a winner’s name, photograph and/or likeness as permitted herein, including, without limitation, claims based on publicity rights, defamation and/or invasion of privacy; and/or (iv) any travel, including but not limited to travel to or from a Chicago Blackhawks home or away game, or activity related to the receipt, use or misuse of the prizes, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death and/or property damage.. The Released Parties are not responsible for incomplete, undecipherable, lost, late, damaged, or misdirected entries, misdirected or faulty texts or for any technical problems, incorrect announcements of any kind, and/or hardware or software failures of any kind. The Released Parties are not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, damaged, intercepted, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the winners. Incomplete entries are void. The Released Parties are not responsible for any human or other error that may occur in the processing of the entries, nor are they responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or failures of any wireless or internet service providers, transmission interruptions or failures on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof, which may limit a person’s ability to participate in this Sweepstakes or receive communication from Sponsors. Sponsors assume no responsibility for undeliverable text messages resulting from filtration of an entrant’s Wireless or Internet service provider or for insufficient space to receive text or e-mail. In consideration for being awarded a prize, each prize recipient hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of prize recipient’s name and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by Goodwill and/or the Chicago Blackhawks. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual feared to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be found acting in violation of the Official Rules, or to undermine legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes. In the event Sponsors are prevented from continuing or completing this Sweepstakes, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is undermined by any event or cause not reasonably within the Sponsors’ control, Sponsors shall have the right, in their sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes without further obligation. If Sponsors, in their discretion, elect to abbreviate the Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right, but not the obligation, to award the prizes from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time of such event or cause. Sweepstakes subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sweepstakes void where prohibited or restricted by law. Sponsors’ decisions are final. The Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes, or announcement of the prizes. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules or the Affidavit will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision of the Official Rules or the Affidavit is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained therein. The Chicago Blackhawks’ failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision. Entrants agree to waive any rights to claim ambiguity of these Official Rules. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, privacy policy or terms of use on the Sweepstakes website and/or the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control and the discrepancy will be resolved in the Chicago Blackhawks’ sole and absolute discretion.
