Easy Closet Organization

Posted by Jamie Klinger-Krebs on Apr 7, 2016 11:39:45 AM

Easy Closet OrganizationOne complaint many women share is the fact that we don’t have enough closet or storage space. I always recommend the old adage, “when something new comes into the house, something old should go out!” I’m just as guilty as anyone about not following this simple organizational rule. I love all my scarves, belts and jewelry.

When I get dressed in the morning, I like to have fast access to my accessories. While searching for something in our shed, I came across a piece of wood trellis leftover from a garden project. I nailed it to the inside of a closet door. First I sanded the cut edges. Plastic trellis would work even better (no rough edges).

I purchased “S” hooks at the garden center that can easily be hooked-on and moved around the trellis sections.

There’s room for dozens of scarves …or dozens of belts.

Attach one in the front door closet for your husband’s hats!
