At your next back-yard party, offer your guests a “lawn” chair to sit on!
I found an old, wicker rocking chair that had seen better days. Then I bought two rolls of sod at the local garden center.
Drape the sod over the back and seat. Cut pieces to fit the arms, side and legs. I used bamboo skewers (the kind you use for shish-kebob) to attach the sod to the chair.
I filled the seat with a flower in a moss-covered pot and added stones and an old frog.
From a distance, the chair blends in with the rest of the yard. Tuck it in a corner of your yard for a trompe l’œil effect. Surprise your guests.
PS: Don’t forget to water your chair!
