Christmas in July

Posted by Jamie Klinger-Krebs on Jul 24, 2014 4:30:00 PM

christmas in julyI know, it’s only mid-July, but now is the time to start thinking about all the great Christmas gifts you would love to make and give. Seriously, will you have time in December to get creative?

These simple decorations are so easy; you can make one for everyone (grandmas, kid’s teachers, and care givers, your hair stylist, etc.) in one afternoon.

You need:

  • vintage kitchen utensils. I like the ones with red handles.
  • christmas in julyred and green ribbon
  • pine sprigs, pinecones, red berries
  • miscellaneous Christmas or winter decorations
  • hot glue

christmas in julyI arranged the pine sprigs on the old masher and whip and glued in place. Add simple ribbon bows. I tucked in a little church, but embellish yours with whatever you have on hand (little gift packages, mini trees, snowmen, angels) the ideas or limitless!

Not only do you have gifts made from the heart, but you’re finished in July!
