Posted by Jamie Klinger-Krebs on Jul 9, 2014 9:50:00 AM

rake reuseIf you’ve been working in the garden this summer and had to invest in new tools, DON’T throw away the old. I’ve come up with 15 ways to reuse that worn-out rake.

Clean up an old metal rake head and hang it on the wall. Be sure it’s securely attached if you intend to hang anything heavy.

In the garage. Keep garden tools or hammers and screwdrivers handy.

On the patio or back yard. Wine glasses are accessible if you set it up near the bar. Or, put it next to the pool for wet beach towels.

In the kitchen. Organize your cooking utensils or hot pads near the stove.

In the bedroom closet. Get dressed quickly in the morning when your jewelry, ties and belts are on display.

In the mud room. It’s perfect for hanging hats and jackets.

Other ideas: Backpacks, stuffed animals in the kids’ room. Scarves and handbags. In the bathroom: No more excuses not to hang bath or hand towels!   The ideas are endless. Let me know what you come up with!
