With Father’s Day just around the corner, I enlisted the help of my adorable nephews, Brayden and Rylan to make special gifts for their dad and grandpas. This project is so easy it kept the attention of five-and-a-half and four-year-old boys.
Collect plain-white ceramic mugs, plates and bowls. I found a huge selection at Goodwill for only $.49 each. The only other thing you need are permanent markers and an oven.
Brayden, who will be in kindergarten this fall, loves zombies! He drew one with a red apple!
Rylan just turned four last month and likes lots of colors and made sure his signature was on the front.
After the kids worked their artistic magic, I baked the dishes in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Although the design will become permanent, I would recommend hand washing the dishes and avoid the dishwasher.
Their dad and grandpas are going to love these personalized gifts.
