Record albums are a thing of the past (except with some collectors). But there is lots of random, old vinyl available at Goodwill stores.

I’ve been trying to think of what could I do with discarded records, especially now to celebrate Earth month. Voila, a tiered stand came to mind.

First I found one of the ugliest things ever! It’s a stand with hand-painted plates on rickety wood legs.

I purchased the older 33-½ records because they’re thicker and heavier. The center hole was too small so I enlarged it with a wire cutter. (The record is so old, it cut away very easily).

12 AOr another idea is to glue an album to a “lazy Susan."

These would be fun for snacks at a Sock Hop party or for make-up on the bathroom sink or as funky display piece. What would you do with them?
