Easter Egg Display

Posted by Jamie Klinger-Krebs on Mar 14, 2013 12:40:00 PM

easter eggsThis year forget the typical Easter basket. Get creative and display eggs in something different. Goodwill is a great place to start!

Cloches are very popular for displaying almost anything. But they can also be very expensive. I found these little candle plates for $.49. An egg is safely nestled on a mound of moss under glass covers (upcycled) from a hanging planter or candelabra!

Or, look for little pewter vases to line up on a shelf. The moss keeps the eggs in place. (Photo #1)

Glass candlesticks are also easy to find at Goodwill. Look for various sizes. A sheet of moss is the foundation for your table centerpiece. (Photo #2)

Or, for a more casual look, pile moss in old cereal bowls and line up on a ribbon of moss down the center of your table. (Photo #3)

Eggs also look charming in sugar and creamer sets. Mix and match. (Photo #4)

Instead of moss, fill a little casserole with feathers and eggs. This green dish came with a brass stand for only $4.99. (Photo #5)

Feathers and eggs look elegant in a crystal candy dish. (Photo #6)

The possibilities are endless. Let me know what you came up with!

Next week, I’ll have some creative ideas for decorating you eggs.
