Create a Halloween tree with Goodwill!

You shouldn’t have any trouble finding an artificial tree at Goodwill. I chose a skinny 4-foot tree for $3.99.

A couple cans of black spray paint and it’s ready to decorate. Be sure to hold the tree upside down so you cover all sides of the branches with paint.

I wrapped the base with leftover orange raffia I used last Easter for carrots. But you can use any fabric. Look for an orange napkin or t-shirt. No sewing necessary. A black pipe cleaner holds it in place.

Then go crazy decorating your tree with any little Halloween trim or ornament.  Add lights, pumpkins, spider rings, ghosts, skeletons and garland.

To make the ornaments more festive and sparkly, I added lots of glitter with spray adhesive. The final touch is spider webs. It just wouldn’t be a Halloween tree without the webbing.
