Lighting is a key ingredient to Halloween decorating. The spookier the better. Now that it’s October, it’s time to bring out the real decorations.
Don’t forget to add lights to welcome trick-or-treaters.
I found strings of mini lanterns at Goodwill for $2.99 each. They were originally perfect for a girl’s room in pink and purple.
When I saw them I immediately thought of little jack-o-lanterns.
A couple coats of orange spray paint, black felt and glue and voila! I made friendly faces, but yours can be as scary as you want.
Hang them on your mantle, book shelf or around a mirror or doorway.
It’s a perfect “I did it myself” project. And you can reuse them every year.
