This month’s repurposing project is easy and fast. Bulletin board push pins and magnets made from keyboard keys.
If you don’t have an old broken keyboard, you can find plenty at Goodwill for as little as $1.99.
Simply remove the back of the keyboard and pop out the keys with a screw driver.
The plastic is so soft you can cut off the shank with a wire cutter. Then trim the stem of a plastic push pin to fit into the hole.
A little glue will hold them in place. Cut old advertising magnets to fit the back and glue.
Spell out words or get creative with the task keys to personalize your refrigerator and work space.
