Tool Caddy

Posted by Jamie Klinger-Krebs on Jun 4, 2012 3:07:00 PM

ask the expertsI have my own personal tool box. I take it with me to client homes and when I’m working as a stylist. It’s filled with my tools and everything I need on a job. I’m happy to let other family members borrow a hammer or tape measure, but I expect my tools to be put back.

It’s a regular tool box, but a bit too masculine and not at all my style.

I needed a box with a handle, a strong closure and sturdy enough to hold lots of stuff. A vintage overnight suitcase came to mind. It’s the perfect size and very girly!

I used rubber bands and zip bags to keep my tools and miscellaneous items organized since this case didn’t have a pull-out tray.

The best part is I don’t have to hide it away in a closet anymore. It looks great on a shelf and is ready to travel.
