Thrifting Is a Family Sport

This weekend my family and I took a trip to California for my sister's wedding. Erica was truly a beautiful bride, and I was so happy to spend time with all of my relatives and friends to celebrate with the bride and groom. As I looked back at all of the beautiful photos from the weekend, I realized thrift shopping is really in my blood. :) Most of the clothing we wore during our vacation was purchased at Goodwill.

How to Wear Black & Not Look Boring

I wanted to scream no, please don’t make me! I loathe wearing black. It’s so boring and plain! I would much rather wear vibrant colors. As teachers in training, we have to be examples for the students, so I decided to comply with the dress code rules. Suddenly realized I had a challenge on my hands. How could I wear black without looking boring? Thankfully black is such an easy to color to find. The first part of my plan was to take a trip to my local Goodwill.
