Even though it’s not quite spring yet, let’s pick up some cues from a fall and winter collection which can easily take you into the season soon ahead! Fashion like this allows us to shake off the last remnants of this wild, but somewhat mild, winter we’ve experienced this year. The design duo Noon by Noor definitely likes to keep their shapes simple and uncomplicated. That is exactly why many women can actually see themselves in a lot of these looks. They’re wearable, as well as on-trend at this moment in fashion history! Their take on texture is a key element to playing off of the relatively unfussy, clean lines of their collection. As usual, here’s a list of things I found interesting and noteworthy.
- Menswear-inspired oxford shoes
- Tunic dresses and tops
- Metallic shine like silver
- Menswear-inspired pants and tops
- Tone-on-tone prints including some abstract florals
- Somber color palette for the most part including grape
- Boxy coats and jackets
- A-line skirts
- Loosely fitted vs very fitted
- Subtle embellishment on many looks
- Use of leather, as well as pleather, for fabrication
A great many of the looks we see in this collection are very accessible to a whole host of body types. Silhouettes that fit the shoulder and float away slightly from the body are always flattering. These might be called trapeze shapes, a-lines, tent dresses, etc. You’ll notice not very many pieces shown here are super fitted. This collection has a casual, yet upscale feeling I like a lot!
When donating gently-used clothing and household items to Goodwill in the weeks to come, it’s also a great time to shop around and see if something on our well-organized racks will help you step confidently into the spring ahead!
