Mary Ellen shows us a refined take on the classic white button-down shirt. This simple wardrobe staple has endless possibilities when it comes to layering. With that as our basis, we added some beautiful silk capri pants by Clio. The gingham check keeps it casual while at the same time the silk makes it very luxurious and gives it an expensive feel. Topped off with another season-less piece, the denim jacket makes yet another statement about the great value of layering in such an effortless way in our everyday lives. The nice contrast of the necklace and earrings in jet-black beads play well off the white shirt, while still providing a consistent neutral background for the pop of color provided by the capri pants. We finished our look off with the trendy wedges from Lower East Side in blue suede. On the whole, this is a fool-proof look that literally any woman can wear with panache and flair as our model Mary Ellen demonstrates quite beautifully.
