Goodwill Success StoriesLiz worked in the Small Mammals department for her first rotation. She handled her food prep duties well—one that even included “bat salad” made of a mixture of bananas, cottage cheese, and dog food! Liz also cleaned dishes after the bats and animals were done eating.

The small mammal building is a very sensitive environment with animals in the back in mesh cages and bats hanging in the open. Liz did a great job of following all of the rules of the department and quickly earned the trust of the zookeepers.

They said they do not know what to do on the weekends when Liz is not around!
