Amazing Finds at Goodwill

Not pictured were my black evening bag ($3.99) and black Naturalizer sling backs ($4.99) that I purchased at the Frankfort, IL store. My whole wedding reception ensemble was less than $16 and I used my $5 off coupon, so I paid just over $12 including tax! (The jewelry was left to me when my mother-in-law passed.)

I found this Armani suit jacket at the Arlington Heights Goodwill in "like new" condition with sewn pockets and inspector's ticket. Retail price of this would be anywhere from $500 to $1000.  I paid $5.99 plus tax! It fits me like a glove too!

My son has been saving his money to buy a scooter with breaks. They run around $80. While shopping at Goodwill this summer, we found one for $10. He had enough money to buy it. Amazing find!

I was walking through Goodwill on my lunch break and saw an employee with a cart of items he was putting out on the floor. There was a cool picture on the bottom of the cart. I waited until he put the picture out and picked it up to look more closely at it. I liked the colors and it was framed well, so I thought I'd pick it up to decorate my new office walls. When I got home later that day, I realized that it was a numbered print so I tried to find it online to see who the artist was (I couldn't tell by the signature). After a long search, I found out the the artist was French and his name is Dennis Paul Noyer. I searched the internet, including ebay and his prints can start at $100 or so! When I tracked down the same print as mine, with a larger print number, the seller was asking $1,000 for it!  I still have not sold the print, as I love to be able to look at what $3.99 can get you. :-)

I went into the Goodwill yesterday in New Berlin to be nosey. I wasn't looking for anything specific so I went to the wallets and purses to just dig around and kill time. After 5 minutes of digging I found this small Chanel purse for $14! It  wasn't even in the case! I started crying because I was so in shock and excited! It was the best day ever! I immediately Googled the item to see how much the retail price was and they are going for $3,000-$4,000! I have always wanted a Chanel purse! I can't wait to wear it out!

I bought a curtain panel at the Yorkville Goodwill for $2.15.  I repurposed it as a covering for my end table!
