I ran to Goodwill to see about Christmas Dresses for the program I was directing that afternoon.  Busy times had kept me and my daughters from preparing our proper look. I had seen a new Goodwill close to where we got our Christmas tree, so I zipped over there hours before the program.

Not only did I find an adorable "Noel" blouse for my 9-yr old, but this dress was waiting on the rack for me. I signed up for the Goodwill Club for the 5% discount and found out I would also get another discount on my birthday ... which was the next day. They graciously gave me both discounts and the dress ended up costing me a whopping $3.50! I get comments about it every time I wear it and am so proud to tell the story.

I'm thrilled to support this mission, and thankful that it supports my needs, too!
