Goodwill offers our Amazing Looks. Our fashion expert, Bjorn has pulled together fantastic combinations using clothing and accessories from our Goodwill Store & Donation Centers, as well as some of our models' favorite items.

Mary Ellen's Favorite Item:
Black Palazzo Pants
"They are a nice alternative to a dress at a formal outing. They're much more comfortable too!”
Here on Mary Ellen we have the enduring allure of basic black. Utilizing her favorite item, her flowing black palazzo pants, Bjorn thought he would take the outfit into more of an evening look. A vintage kimono jacket that was literally made for this ensemble, emulates the shape of the slacks and has wonderful gold embroidery, in addition to details like frog closures and double cuffed sleeves. With a piece like this, the rest of her outfit was kept on the simple side. A long sleeved black cotton t-shirt from Energie was all she needed under the ornate jacket. Completing the look is an accessory set that includes earrings, a bracelet and a necklace in a gold shell-like design from Organ Taylor that was brand new right out of the gift box! The piece de resistance for this dazzling look are the fabulous sequined pumps from J. Renee that Bjorn thought completed the movement of the slacks, and revealed a little sparkle as she walked. Mary Ellen could wear this to any special event that she is invited to this winter. On another note, this type of jacket could also be worn for maximum impact with jeans as well!

| Kim — Versatile Monochromatic |

Kim's Favorite Item:
Dark Denim Skinny Jeans
"These jeans are so comfortable and they really flatter my shape. It doesn't hurt that they go with everything either!”
Kim also shows us the power of a monochromatic outfit. Layering was started with Kim's favorite item, her dark washed denim skinny jeans. From the Icon Collection, a long sleeved black rayon top was belted with a sparkly beaded sash for added impact. Because the weather is now cool, Bjorn used a spectacular vintage Oleg Cassini navy wool coat that has a fur stand up collar to top it off. Accessories were kept to a minimum with Worthington earrings with a black and silver drop, as well as a bracelet in silver with mother of pearl circle detail. Kim's own black strappy open toed pumps add just the right touch to keep the outfit classy and not too casual. It's always a great idea to go with all one tone for an outfit, as long as there is a variety in texture and proportion. Bjorn says, "It's okay to pair navy and black, because the navy adds a softening effect to the harshness of the black, but keeps the sophistication level high!" Kim looks awesome and could easily take this look out for dinner or a night on the town.
