Fall 2011 Amazing Looks - October
Goodwill offers our Amazing Looks. Our fashion expert, Bjorn has pulled together fantastic combinations using clothing and accessories from our Goodwill Store & Donation Centers, as well as some of our models' favorite items.

Gwen's Favorite Item:
Jeans
"They go with everything, and I got them from Goodwill!”
Gwen shows us a great way to do the fall menswear look. Her favorite items are her cream lace tank with pearl buttons (she actually purchased at Goodwill a few years ago) and her "go to" pair of jeans! The tank is the perfect feminine contrast to all the more tailored, menswear inspired items we’ve put with it. A cool vest from H&M in grey cotton had some wonderful details like small lapels and watch pocket. These are the things that truly make a piece of clothing more special. Next, Bjorn layered on a vintage plaid Capezio sport jacket that was slightly oversized to give it that “boyfriend” look as though she borrowed it from a guy she knows! To add some more girly details, he chose Temple St. Clair earrings with angel wings, gold and pearl detail. A wooden bracelet that had some purple in it, perfectly picked up the tones in the plaid jacket. A Wyler Inca Flex antique men’s watch keeps the boyish look going. A cameo ring and tweed with tan leather accent peep toe pumps once again bring back the feminine contrast. This is the perfect blend of boy-girl items that make this unique style work! Charming and sweet at the same time!

Clint's Favorite Item:
Jeans
"Comfortable. They look good with every type of shirt. They are perfect for throwing on and going.”
For model Clint, Bjorn built on his favorite pair of jeans to show two of the latest looks for guys. First we have a preppy look with a J. Crew shirt in a crisp gingham pattern. He added a vintage tie in coordinating shades of blue and green for interest. Stacy Adams loafers in an alligator print patent leather make the outfit seem more refined.
For the second look, we have the perfect plaid outdoorsy shirt from Chaps in a vibrant red and yellow. When layered over a v-neck t-shirt it keeps the vibe casual and fun. Clint added his favorite pair of suede moccasin style shoes for comfort, a fun and a bit of flair. A Burberry style hat can be added if the sun’s too bright, or just for that cool look that only a hat can bring to a guy’s ensemble. For most men, a wardrobe of quality cotton shirts in a veritable rainbow of tones will always look better with you best jeans, than a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Variety is the spice of life when it comes to dressing up, down or in-between for young men today!
