Fall 2011 Amazing Looks - September
Goodwill offers our Amazing Looks. Our fashion expert, Bjorn has pulled together fantastic combinations using clothing and accessories from our Goodwill Store & Donation Centers, as well as some of our models' favorite items.

Joanie's Favorite Item:
Anne Klein Heels
"Not my typical style and very out of character for me. I love the detail on the front.”
Our model Joanie shows the versatility of one pair of jeans and her favorite item her pumps. Bjorn has chosen a vintage Gianfranco Ferre silk tunic blouse to pair with those items. The stunning simplicity of the top is all she needs to make a statement for a casual evening out. To pick up the detail on her Anne Klein pumps he used some simple gold dangle earrings, and a gold bracelet watch. When you have a statement top like this one you don’t need anything else!
In our second look Bjorn simply switched out the cream top for a more graphic black and white twin, or sweater set from Jones New York. Can you see how this changes the outfit dramatically? To keep the daytime look going he added a shoulder bag in black, big enough to hold file folders and anything else she may need. Remember, one pair of jeans that you feel great in, and one of your favorite accessories, like her pumps, are all you need to score fashion success!!

Matt's Favorite Item:
Khakis
"I like my khakis because they offer a nice casual look, without dressing down too much. It's a nice neutral color so I can wear a lot with them.”
On our model Matt, Bjorn shows that men don’t need to shy away from color. Here, he has layered a grey t-shirt with a Land’s End Robin’s Egg Blue sweater and added some punch with an oversize knit scarf from the Gap. As our base he utilized Matt’s own favorite khaki slacks, which are a must for any man on the go. To finish this simple look he chose some great white loafers from J.A.B. International.
Keeping with our theme of one item forming the basis for many looks we again used the khaki slacks, but in a twist on the menswear style he layered a red and white vertical striped button down shirt, with a graphic horizontal striped tie and topped it off with a velour warm-up jacket! Who says you can’t wear a tie with a warm-up? The look is unique and polished at the same time. When you’re shopping at Goodwill, always look for items like a great fitting pair of jeans or khaki’s, they’ll serve you well no matter what you pair them with, year round.
