Nothing brightens a room faster than fresh flowers. If you can step out the door to pick blooms from your own garden, lucky you. If not, stop at your local florist or grocery store on your way home from work and treat yourself to a lovely bouquet. Why wait for a special occasion. You deserve flowers everyday!

Colorful blooms will brighten any space. You don’t need fancy arrangements, floral oasis or big vases to fill your home with fresh fragrance. Look for unusual juice or wine glasses.

I found a set of 7 or 8 little etched glasses with stems. If you cannot find a matched set, look for glasses in the same height and similar style.

A glass with a narrow opening is easier to work with. You will only need a couple of big head flowers like these daisies. If you use a smaller flower, plan on adding a few more.

The multi colors in this bunch add a big punch of “wow” to as neutral space.

Line them up on a shelf, window sill or cabinet for a contemporary yet simple look. You can update any room for as little as a couple of dollars.
