Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin was voted "Best of Milwaukee 2008" Thrift Store by The Shepherd Express.

The article from the November 13, 2008 issue says, "There's a misconception that thrift-store furniture shopping is only for those on an extremely limited budget and willing to settle something that's beat up (or "shabby chic," to sugarcoat it). But Goodwill offers deals for shoppers of all incomes, and those who are able to spend up a bit can walk away with like-new desks and couches at bargain prices. Some Goodwill locations even carry unused overstock furniture marked down to a fraction of the suggested retail price.(E.R.)"
