Successful Good Deed Day for Goodwill Industries and The Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast

The Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast

Goodwill Industries and The Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast teamed together for a very successful Good Deed Day, May 17, 2008.

It was our hope that together we would continue to foster community service activities while emphasizing the importance of two very important "R's"—Reuse and Recycle.

The donated items collected from the Good Deed Day drive became the gently-used merchandise in our stores. The money raised in our retail stores help support our mission, "We provide training, employment and supportive services for people with disabilities or disadvantages who seek greater independence." Goodwill offers programs to help individuals get a job so they can give back to the community.

Because of your assistance and support, the 2008 Good Deed Day was a success! Thank you!
