"Take Your Jeans" Off for a Good Cause!

Levi's Brand Retail® and Goodwill Industries International held a co-branded denim drive, "Take Your Jeans Off", April 24, 2008—May 1, 2008. It benefited 10 different Goodwill agencies located in the denim icon's five main markets: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City and Washington, DC.

Levi's stores offered customers a 20% discount on a pair of Levi's® jeans when they donated gently-worn jeans, jean jackets, denim skirts or demin shirts during the drive.

Proceeds from the sales will help fund Goodwill job training programs that benefit hundreds of thousands of people each year. The "Take Your Jeans Off" program is part of Levi's long-standing commitment to community involvement. According to Mark Breitbard, President of Levi's® Brand, Retail, "Partnering with Goodwill Industries this year is exciting because it gives consumers the opportunity to join in this tradition by donating their used jeans to support Goodwill."

When you cleaned out your closets for Goodwill during the "Take Your Jeans Off" program you invested in your community and helped people who want to work, but need Goodwill's assistance to find a job. And you also benefited from great savings on new Levi's jeans!
