Skinny jeans—(Wanita) 

For our model Wanita, Bjorn worked with her favorite item, her skinny jeans.  They are the perfect way to start the New Year by layering other pieces with them.  He started by adding a blue travel print “Skinny Minnie” brand tank top to her jeans as a base layer.  From there, a Velvet brand, gray cardigan adds soft texture and warmth.  To top it all off he chose a vintage 1960’s Royal blue vinyl coat for drama and scale for the ensemble.  Accessories for this “Euro-look” include a Calvin Klein belt, simple black earrings, a brand new pair of Vera Wang flats, and a beautiful floral print Francesco Biasia handbag. Wanita can tote essentials and anything else she might need on a busy day on the streets of Paris, or even Downtown Milwaukee/Chicago!  Think of this outfit as an easy way to pull together pieces in the same color family (blues) to make a cohesive statement!

Michael Kors slacks—(Matt)  

On our model Matt, Bjorn also started with his favorite item, his Michael Kors dress slacks in gray.  A great fitting pair of slacks is an essential in any man’s wardrobe, and is the basis for many looks.  Layering is in evidence again here as Bjorn chose a Geoffrey Beene multi color plaid button down shirt to pair with the slacks.  Plaid is a great texture for layering especially when it is a simple and monochromatic pattern.  A complementary tie by Apt. 9, and a grey wool button down vest by Nautica, make the shirt pop and add distinction and class.  The classic trench coat in yet another shade of grey and some handsome Ravello black leather shoes polish his look even more. Matt is  ready to take on business, or a night out on the town. Keep in mind that every guy should have at least one coat or overcoat that is considerably dressier than any other in his wardrobe.  The trench here pulls together all of our other elements, and coordinates with all the tones in the ensemble.
