Using high fashion as his influence, Bjorn does his version of "monochromatic" event dressing. He started with our model Amanda's favorite item, her beige pumps. These are a great staple in a woman's wardrobe, as they create elongation of the legs by having one continuous tone. With that in mind he found a brand new tunic dress with delicate taupe sequin detail on a creamy ivory jersey. Since it was a sleeveless tunic, he paired a sheer blouse with complementary tone-on-tone print that worked perfectly under the dress.

When doing monochromatic you can layer accessories liberally as long as they are in the same tone. This look can be worn with or without the blouse underneath depending on the event you are going to. And remember the key to sequined items and sparkle is to keep them subtle as in this ensemble.

Bjorn wanted to show with our model Garret that layering is not just for women alone! Here he did an urban influenced look based on Garret's favorite item, his vintage look headphones. This cool look was really anchored with the combat boots. From there he added our basic shorts in brown, and did the popular layered t-shirt look, with a long sleeved navy shirt under a short sleeved white shirt. Topping it all off, he found a vintage "safari style" jacket, that is currently all the rage, with great details like sewn on pockets and epaulets. This is a fun, high fashion, "edgy" look that keeps the party going!
