Getting and staying organized is a challenge for most of us. It’s particularly challenging if you have a small bathroom or share a bath with others. I like to keep the items I use every day handy and at hand. As I walked the aisles at Goodwill one day, I found an old wood remote control caddy on a turntable.
It’s a perfect size for make-up and toiletries. The turntable is an added convenience.
The wood was a little scratched (and dated) so, I decided to paint it. I had left a can of purple spray paint in my garage so it was very cold and when I sprayed the caddy. The paint finish ended up splotchy but I like how it turned out. Instead of a messy mistake, the result looks funky and artsy.
I printed Kiss & Make-Up in a fun font and decoupaged the cut-out words to the front and back of the caddy. It’s the perfect size for a dorm room or mini bath.
