Whenever I shop at Goodwill it feels like a good ol’ thrifting treasure hunt because I never know whats in store for me! The thrill of a treasure hunt is also somewhat relaxing and it helps to take my mind off the stressful summer days. With the kids being out of school, there's been a quite a few of those stressful days lately. This week I visited the Goodwill Store & Donation Center in Orland Park location to continue my back-to-school shopping. Take a look at some of the items I found:
Unfortunately one of my daughters is sometimes prone to bed wetting accidents at night, this means lots of laundry and soiled clothing. This Goodwill store had a table full of brand new mattress protectors. I picked up a few as you really couldn't beat the price.
Throughout the year my husband and I encourage our daughters to read by taking them on trip to our local library. The Dork Diaries collection is a very popular book series for kids ages 10-13 and each book was priced at only a buck!
Despite what my husband says, a girl can never have too many pairs of shoes. I have a thing for heels and I fell in love with this metallic gold and purple pair.
What's your favorite Goodwill treasure?
