Everybody loves denim. I don’t think that there is any man, woman or child who does not have a pair of jeans is there? There are classic denim jackets of course, but there are other ways to incorporate denim into your everyday looks. This week I collaborated with local Milwaukee fashion blogger Riva Treasure.
I took her some denim pieces I found at Goodwill, including some NWT (new with tags) 1970s inspired denim bibs that were $6.99, a stretch denim jumper that was $5.99, and a denim zip-front dress that was $6.99. Here’s the results of her styling and my photography ...
"The wide leg bib look screamed 70s to me! I decided to style the groovy flared jumpsuit with a bell-sleeve blouse. This outfit is very simple but gives off a very carefree fun look! I liked the idea of the symmetry of the flared sleeve and pant look. What I loved about this jumpsuit was that it was fun to try it on with different items in my current wardrobe."
"When I saw this jumper I knew exactly what I wanted to do with the outfit. I loved the neckline and decided to pair it with a striped bodysuit and vintage scarf to give it a young Parisian-feel look. The dress can be worn so many different ways including paired with tights and booties with a chunky sweater over, belted with a bomber jacket, or simply on its own! A dress like this should be in every fashionista's closet!"
"This professional but chic denim dress was easy to wear and easier to style! I chose to pair it with a fun colored semi-fitted blazer, vintage printed belt and a pop-of-color pair of suede mules. The dress is perfect for an office, but can easily be styled to head to happy hour."
